A HHO conversion kit uses hydrogen gas (H2) as a another energy source for cars. This device converts a car into a hydrogen hybrid vehicle. The hydrogen Fuel That powers a car can easily be created from water through an electrolysis process. We know that water is a element made from 2 molecules of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen witch is called H2O. When putting electro-plates in water, hydrogen gas bubbles are separated when electricity from the battery is powering the system. The system generates enough H2 and is vented into the engines combustion chambers. Thus giving it cleaner higher grade burning fuel.

As Your car is running, air and the hydrogen gas will be cycled into the combustion chambers. The H2 and gasoline together forms a higher, powerful ignition. Giving your car more horse power. This is because hydrogen gas is three times more potent apposed to fossil fuel. The end result is a higher, cleaner burning engine power output. When your car is burning the same amount of fuel with a higher engine output, the vehicle travels further distances, increasing its mileage. Getting better gas mileage means saving gas money for yourself or any car owner.

To get better gas mileage with a HHO conversion kit is a easy process. You can create the conversion kit with parts easily available from a hardware store. With a budget of around $100, you can start to Get better fuel mileage and start saving money. All you have to do is buy a water fuel conversion guide. I have a blog that has a few sites to chose from at http://hhofuelcars.com/blog With fuel cost consistently rising, any ideas to save on gasoline is worth the risk.

HHO is a well known scam which claims to improve fuel economy but in fact does no such thing.

One argument of the scammers is that the hydrogen produced by the electrolyser is burned in the engine to produce additional power. Given that the engine burns fuel to power the alternator which produces the electricity to split the water in to hydrogen and oxygen in the first place it is clear that there is no additional energy input to the system. Taking into account the efficiencies of the engine and the alternator and the electrolyser unit ( all of which will be below 100%) it is also clear that energy is lost through this process. The scammers have obviously not heard about the laws of thermodynamics. You can't get more energy out that you put in.

A second argument of the scammers promoting HHO is that the efficiency of burn in the engine is improved. This is also a lie. Often the engine management system is remapped for a leaner burn in addition to the electrolyer unit being installed. This lean burn set up will improve performance regardless of the installation of the electrolyser. Unfortunatley lean burn in the engine results in much higher combustion temperatures which will damage the engine and cause significantly increased emissions of NOx, possibly to levels which are illegal for motor vehicle exhausts.

Where people have given testimonials regarding improved performance you can be assured that this is solely the placebo effect. Objective tests on rolling roads which take the human out of the test show conclusively that there is a loss of efficiency when an electrolyser device is used. This loss is due to the generation of hydrogen and associated efficiency losses due to the engine, alternator and electrolyser.

Do not believe the drivel written in this article. It was written by someone with no understanding of science or engineering and fitting an HHO device to your car will result in long term engine damage and a big hole in your wallet.

P.S - I am a professional chemical engineer who has experience with fuel cell systems and energy generation. I have a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and an MSc also in an engineering related subject. This gives me the background knowledge on thermodynamics and energy generation systems.
